Needs Assessment
Some companies come to Soft Lightning with a thorough understanding of their e-learning needs. Many, however, look to us to provide an in-depth analysis to identify the right web-based training solution for their company.
During the Needs Assessment phase of development, Soft Lightning's team will:
- Help your company develop its learning objectives and align a program to corporate initiatives
- Evaluate the company's current technological environment
- Analyze characteristics of the typical user as well as the tasks he or she will be expected to master
- Define hosting, reporting, and delivery requirements for the e-learning modules
- Identify the metrics that are used to determine whether the training is effective
Once the Needs Assessment has been completed, we begin the Instructional Design process, which thoroughly documents the goals, objectives, and module development into a course blueprint.
