Students can access training information in a number of ways. Some clients choose to distribute CDs or DVDs that can be played on the student's computer. Other clients load courses onto dedicated training computers or kiosks. Most often, however, e-learning modules are made available through an online website portal called a Learning Management System, or LMS.

At Soft Lightning, we can deploy our own standards-based LMS to deliver content to users, or we can integrate with the LMS of your choice. The Soft Lightning LMS not only supplies individual courses, but also lessons, assignments, quizzes, resources, and other activities. Grades for many of these activities are recorded automatically into a grade book that can be viewed online or downloaded as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
The Soft Lightning LMS provides access to useful collaboration tools like discussion forums, chat, journals, glossaries, surveys and workshops. Its interface is customized with your company's logo, colors, text, and graphics. Both the content and the LMS may be developed in compliance with SCORM standards.
